While you can make this meal with cooked chicken in 30 minutes, I use it in my slow cooker recipes too. I can use raw chicken or turkey and add rice for a meal cooked to creamy perfection. Adding salsa from a jar or a couple of fresh jalapenos gives me the heat I prefer.
