Connecticut Cottage Chicken Noodle Frontier Soups
Remember when you ran into grandma’s house and were overcome with the mouth watering aroma of something good cooking on the stove? Well get ready to make those memories for your family. This 30 minute meal has all the delicious naturally good fragrance of a soup pot simmering for hours!
With no added salt, MSG or preservatives this little 4.5oz package has all natural noodles, carrots, onions, peas, shallots, corn, celery, leeks, garlic and herbs. Although dehydrated, you can see each layer of vegetables whole and unadulterated. Prepared with your added chicken broth, raw or precooked chicken and 2Tablespoons of butter, the homemade flavor of this soup is exquisite.
Frontier Connecticut Cottage Chicken Noodle Soup is chock full of flavorful goodness. Each vegetable is discernible on your palate. You’ll have to chew instead of just mash and swallow. You’d think that adding what seems to be a small amount of ingredients to 6 cups of chicken broth would make for a lot of broth and just a few vegetables and noodles in your spoon, but I was amazed. The broth was thick with the re-hydrated vegetables and cooked noodles. This is the best dollar stretcher I have used in a long time. Each package serves 5 and I’m sure that the flavor will not suffer from adding a bit more broth to make it go a little farther.
Every package comes with an Innovative Variation from Frontier Soups. This mix is so versatile you can make a totally different meal with the suggested variations. One variation is House Special Fried Rice. You just add 1 C of long grain white rice to the soup mix, leave out the chicken, pour in 4 cups chicken broth, add the noodles and simmer.
Try this amaZING soup mix with turkey instead of chicken and if you love fish, like I do, try using a can of tuna, a small fillet of wild salmon or any fish with a distinct flavor. I added cooked salmon to the leftover Chicken Noodle soup and it made a hearty, delicious chicken and fish chowder. I promise you that the herbs in the mix will compliment the flavor of almost any substitution or addition you make!
Frontier Connecticut Cottage Chicken Noodle Soup makes a wonderful meal all by itself, or serve it with hot crunchy French bread and a glass of milk for a very filling, very tasty, very nourishing lunch or dinner.
