The ingredients in this thick and rich soup are lentils, dehydrated vegetables (carrots, onions, and celery), curry powder, garlic, cilantro, ginger, sugar, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, cumin and cayenne pepper.
The 15.25-ounce box makes TONS of soup! It says that it will feed 8 people, but they must have BIG appetites because this soup keeps going and going and going! Of course this never-ending soup makes it easy for the cook as well as the person eating it as you can eat it hot, cold, with added chicken, with yogurt, fresh cilantro, Parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs…anything that sounds good to you! We ate and ate this soup, and finally had to freeze the copious leftovers.
