One of the members of the PureZing team is not really crazy about tuna fish. He thinks it’s too dry and fishy tasting and of course only relates to the mushy tuna that is commonly found on grocery store shelves.
Well, the rest of us had a hard time getting the can away from him: he was literally tasting and tasting and tasting this tuna right out of the can! The rest of us looked at each other and knew that there was something special about this tuna.
Ventresca is the highly prized, flavorful and tender part of the tuna: the belly. For centuries, tuna fishermen considered this the best part of the tuna, and so did their gourmet and discerning customers. While this tuna comes in small pieces and is very moist, it is not mushy. The color is medium beige and there are no dark parts flecking this meat. The can is a pull-top 3.75-ounce gourmet treat that you can pack and take with you, or enjoy right off your pantry shelf. Line caught, young tuna are the only ones used by this supplier, yielding a healthier and more flavorful fish.
As wonderful as this tender tuna is, it is made even better by using organic virgin olive oil as added flavor. Please do not drain the oil from this tuna as its flavor and consistency make the tuna quite an experience: buttery and as melt in your mouth as you will ever experience with tuna. Dripping with olive oil, each bite of Ventresca can be thoroughly enjoyed as is: right from the can. It was so good that we did not mix it with any seasonings or other foods!
If you are a tuna lover, you’ll go nuts over this. If you know someone who is iffy about tuna, this might be the turning point for them. Either way, you have to try this one of a kind tuna.
