We are so impressed with the simple, super safe, non-toxic and amaZing results of this Bugblaster that we have awarded it one of Pure Zing’s Eco-Discoveries of 2009!

Imagine spraying away bugs with nothing more than water and having it work as well or BETTER than dangerous chemical pesticides! Side by side tests run by the University of California proved that water emitted from the patent-pending Bugblaster nozzle BLASTS bugs off of plants, killing them in the process, working as well or BETTER than chemicals.

Now you would think that this would be tough on plants but user after user was amazed that buds, flowers and even delicate plants were not harmed. The soft shelled ‘pest’ bugs are the only ones that are affected. Aphids, mealy bugs, spider mites, whiteflies and other plant pests are washed off and either killed or their life-cycle disturbed to the point where they no longer attack your plants. NO pesticides or herbicides are used…ONLY water! Beneficial insects like ladybugs and mantises are hard shelled and are not affected by the water. Instead of subjecting your plants, the environment, your family and pets to chemicals, water can get the bugs off…and keep them off!

Attach the wand to your hose and turn the water on. With a flick of a valve on the wand, the water will either blast out of the nozzle, be slowed or be turned off. On full, the nozzle emits a strong wall of water that gets on the underside of leaves, into crevices, high above your head, and even under the smallest groundcover at your feet. This does far more than just a regular hose or spray attachment, its special 360-degree water emission goes where no regular hose can go! If you already have a watering wand, there is an economical nozzle attachment that turns your watering wand into a full-fledged Bugblaster!

The wand comes in four colors: blue, orange, green or purple in the 30-inch model and silver in the 48-inch model. Use the smaller wand for large shrubs, small trees and regular plants, and the large wand for tall trees. All of the wands are made of sturdy anodized aluminum and are easy to attach to the end of any hose.

Use the wands several times per week in the morning (to allow the plants to dry off in the sun) and do this for up to three weeks. This allows for total eradication of a colony of pests: from egg, to juvenile to adult. The wand also keeps plants clean which allows for better growth and respiration. The 360-degree spray also cleans your plants of sooty mold, spider webs, dirt and dust – making them less attractive to bugs in the first place! It couldn’t be easier: water your plants and eradicate pests at the same time.

Many of us have used soapy solutions to discourage pests naturally, but this practice actually ends up clogging the plants pores. Think of it: if you were coated with soap and it wasn’t rinsed off, your pores would be clogged too! When you see a huge pest infestation you think that all you can do is reach for the chemicals to kill them, but as one user of the Bugblaster said, all she had was chemical coated bugs everywhere. Even if you don’t have pets or children, you don’t have to expose yourself and the environment to chemicals when a blast of water can do the trick: safely and economically!
