A Perfect Pear

When did you ever have vinegar that was an award winner? Well, feast your eyes on this beauty as it won Best of Class at the California State Fair and took First Place in the Lake County Fair. The ingredients are just as remarkable as the presentation.

The stunning bottle comes from Italy and you are going to want to use it over and over as it is so lovely. Thick bottomed, gently curved and arriving with a smooth wooden stopper, you will love the view of the organic pear slices floating in a pale golden vinegar. A pour stopper is supplied so that you can shake the contents over vegetables, fruit salads with freshly chopped herbs, or directly onto a salad of baby greens and goat cheese.

The pears are dehydrated with citric acid, not sulfites, and then captured for your visual and culinary enjoyment. The pears gently infuse the vinegar with the subtle flavor, and I would imagine that once the vinegar has been used up, that another vinegar could be poured into the bottle, re-igniting the pear essence.
