This is a really unique sauce: that is the verdict of two brave Zingers who ate not only this sauce, but another one! Don’t be put off by the name ‘Atomic’. No, this will not make you glow in the dark, although that thought might intrigue a few of you. One of our Zingers said that he never had a hot sauce like this: EVER! The reason? He said that anyone can eat hot sauces without feeling the heat if they don’t open their mouth. In other words, oxygen it what makes your tongue sense the heat. Put a spoon of hot sauce in your mouth and as long as you do not let air in, the sauce will not taste hot. Let air in and YOWY!

So, the unusual thing that happened to this particular Zinger is that for the first time in his long life of eating hot sauces (he LOVES them!), the opposite occurred! He put the spoon of Atomic Sauce in his mouth and it was hot. He opened his mouth and took a breath in…and it cooled his mouth off! Go figure!

Both brave Zingers said that even though the name is intimidating, the heat is not. Both felt that another one of this supplier’s sauces called Hot Sauce is far hotter! Again, go figure.

Hot or not, both of them LOVED this sauce and agreed that this supplier is a master at letting the flavor still be found in spite of the heat. The comments were ‘sweet flavor with small chunks of spices - lots of flavor that lasts – rich and full flavor - not so warm that you can’t enjoy it – don’t let the label mislead you as this is not too hot and had lots of flavor.’ The rest of the time, both were busy laughing together, comparing hot sauce stories and pouring more Atomic Sauce on their spoons!

The creators of this sauce says that it registers a searing 100,000 Scoville…and all without the use of a pepper extract!
