Monave Mineral Makeup
Monave Mineral Makeup is completely pure. Owner Deb Bilezikian provides a run down of its earthy ingredients and speaks a bit about the line.
This is not only a fun brush to use, but it is perfect to use with mineral makeup! All three of the testers used it for applying the Loose Mineral Foundation as well as tapping a tiny bit of Pearlessence Blush.
With mineral makeup you need a firm enough brush to push the product into your skin. I know that sounds terrible, but we don’t mean literally ‘into’… but meld it with your skin so that it does not sit on top.
This Flat Top brush is the perfect shape and size and is soft, but firm enough to blend the product so that it looks natural. If you apply mineral foundation or blush too lightly, it sits on top of your skin and looks pasty and unnatural. With enough pressure, technique and the right natural bristle brush, mineral makeup can look like your skin…. only better!
One of the tricks is to use very little product. Just tap a tiny bit onto the top of this brush and then tap the handle onto the countertop (bristles facing the ceiling). Now, dab the foundation all over your face…and then firmly blend it in small circles. With the blush, do the same on your cheeks.
Voila! Gorgeous looking skin…and a natural blush: all with the fun, Flat Top Brush!
