Red Algae Mask

We all know that a mask can help pull out impurities, but too often they also pull the moisture from our skin. In trying to solve one problem, we end up with another. PureZing was pleased to try this red algae mask: a product that puts vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and antioxidants into the skin and hydrates while it soothes breakouts and irritations.

The ingredients are nutrient-rich marine products, coupled with the latest combinations of flower extracts, natural clays, vitamins and oils: red algae gel extract, glycerin, corrective oil complex, oat amino acids, French red clay, French pink clay, coconut extracts, water lilly extract, sesame oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, red wine extract, chamomile extract, calendula extract, green tea extract and grapefruit seed extract.

The product is easy to apply and goes on smoothly. It is thick, creamy and cooling. When first applied, it is a light terra cotta color and dries to a darker shade. When dry, the product does not flake, crack or feel rock hard, as some clay tends to do. Leave it on 5-7 minutes. When water is applied, the mask easily melts away. This mask is for all skin types and can be used several times per week. It worked well on our whole team without any irritation.

Our skin felt soft; not taught, deep cleaned; but not stripped. Our skin was smoother where we had put the clay, versus where we had left a bare test patch. All in all, our team felt a difference, and it was for the better! As the products in this line are all pH balanced, we did not use a toner afterwards. End result was softer, smoother skin that felt great. We’re impressed! This is a mask that we will all use again!
