Decidedly different type of cleanser: this is not a lotion, a soap, foamy or creamy. This light but effective cleanser is a clear, golden liquid that does not lather and yet, you can literally feel that it cleans…but without stripping! The feeling of it on your face is smooth and yet it is not an oily sensation but very soothing: it is such a pleasure to use that you want to keep gently washing with it.
The fragrance is unbeatable. During washing you are enveloped in an almost lemony – herbal - floral scent that none of us has ever experienced before. The scent remains on your hands even after you have dried them…and it is fresh, lovely and unique.
When you rinse, you are aware that it is rinsing off completely, and yet an essence remains on your skin that gives it a soft, smooth feel without any squeaky-soap-dryness. You pat your face dry and it feels moist, soft and enriched with beneficial ingredients: ingredients that somehow… you can still feel on your skin.
The ingredients are structured water, Saponified Olive Oil, Aqueous Extract of Stevia, Jatoba, Iporuru, Uña de Gato, Aloe Vera, vegetable Glycerine, Xanthan Gum and 100% Essential Oils of Tea Tree, Basil, Litsea Cubeba plus Essential Oil Extracts of Rosemary, Oregano, Cinnamon, Goldenseal, Lavender and Thyme.
In a pretty green glass 3.5-ounce bottle with a pump top, it is easy to dispense just a few drops. A few drops is all you need as this light formulation is concentrated. A few drops…and your whole face, throat and décolleté can be cleansed, soothed, pH balanced and refreshed. Our experience of this facial cleanser is that it cleans thoroughly…and yet leaves your skin feeling balanced and soft. All of this is accomplished without detergents, soaps, lotions or oils and even those among us with the most sensitive skin did not have any redness with these pure ingredients.
This clear golden, highly aromatic cleanser’s feel and scent are unique…and the ingredients are very high quality. The whole washing experience was lovely and contemplative…rather than routine. None of us could remember the last time that we had such a good time washing our faces!
