These are not ice cube trays. These are specially made baby food and breast milk trays that are made of food safe plastic. The covers are thick, leak-proof, snap on easily and with large tabs at either end, are easy to pull off.

Two trays give you 24, 1-ounce portions of either baby food or breast milk. Once either milk or food has been frozen, it is easy to pop them out of the containers and place them in heavy-duty freezer bags, freeing the trays for more food or breast milk. Perfect for busy mothers who care about homemade, healthy foods for their little ones, this package of two trays will be used for fresh fruit and vegetable purees as well as preservation of nutritious breast milk. Pop several cubes right out of the trays and put them in a freezer bag in a thermal lunch bag, and you can even travel with them!

If you use the So Easy Baby Food Cookbook, then you will want to order four or more trays, depending on your child’s age and the amount of food they eat at each stage of growth.

As each section in the tray is a 1-ounce serving, it is easy to pull a cube out, defrost it, and have a meal. If you have expressed breast milk and poured it into the tray, it is easy to defrost one cube to top off a bottle, add to cereal or to thin foods that are too thick. Each 1-ounce cube is a perfect size food serving, allowing you to easily portion foods, adding more cubes as your child grows.

Each tray is safe in the dishwasher and the flat tops allow for easy stacking in the freezer.
