1 pound of halibut cut into bite size pieces
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of salt
1 gallon of water
DIRECTIONS:
Bring water to a boil in a large and deep pot. Add the cup of sugar and the cup of salt and stir to dissolve. Drop a handful of halibut pieces into the boiling water. They will sink and slowly rise to the top. When they rise to the top, remove them immediately with a slotted spoon and place in a bowl. Continue dropping a handful of halibut into the boiling water and scooping when it gets to the top. When all the halibut is cooked, serve with melted butter. It tastes just like real lobster!
Note: be sure and have the rest of your meal all prepared (salad, garlic bread etc) as once the halibut is done, it should be eaten immediately. Also, do not let the halibut overcook: be sure and scoop it out as soon as it reaches the top of the water.
