INGREDIENTS:
12 blueberries
12 raspberries
12 cherries
Very small strawberries
DIRECTIONS:
Place a mixture of berries in the containers of ice cube trays, or be a purist and don’t mix the berries.
Fill each ice cube container only half full of berries.
Pour warm water with some freshly squeezed lemon juice into the trays, covering the berries.
Freeze overnight.
Remove the berry-filled ice cubes and place in a large freezer bag.
Use for any lemonade, punch or iced tea that need chilling. Just place several berry-filled ice cubes in a glass and pour the beverage over. Beautiful!
For a cookout with foods that get hands messy, put a berry-filled ice cube in a bowl of lemon water and refresh sticky hands in a really cool way!
Note: raspberries can be also frozen without water. Place them in a single layer in a freezer bag and freeze. When you have champagne, be sure and drop one or two frozen raspberries into the flute for a beautiful look!
