INGREDIENTS:
6 Tbsp Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seed Butter (Well Stirred)
3/4 Cup Unbleached flour
1/4 Cup Organic Cocoa Powder
1/4 tsp NON ALUMINUM Baking powder
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
4 oz Silken-style soft organic tofu (about 6 Tbsp)
5 Tbsp Coconut Oil
2 oz Organic Unsweetened Chocolate, Melted/Tempered
1/2 Cup Organic Applesauce
1/2 Cup Organic Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup Organic Sucanat
2 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract or 1 Whole Organic Vanilla Bean
2 Cups Organic Dark or Light Vegan Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
Place tofu in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth.
Add to tofu: oil, melted chocolate, applesauce, hemp seed nut butter, maple syrup, sucanat and vanilla. Mix until smooth with the tofu.
Add Flour mixture slowly to Tofu mixture and mix well.
Add in Chocolate Chips Last.
Spread into a 9x13 pan, greased with coconut oil or sprayed with non-stick natural vegetable spray.
Bake @ 325 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Make about 12 YUMMY BROWNIES!!! ENJOY!!!
