The ADHD Fraud

One of the members of the PureZing team has a son who 25 years ago was labeled ADHD. She and her son personally experienced years of difficulties due to drug side effects, teacher’s attitudes, exclusionary treatment and the stigma of the ADHD label. The setting apart of these children as diseased and abnormal has taken a toll on parents and children alike for several decades now. It was with skepticism that our team member read this book, but it was with tears of gratitude that is was finished. Her belief now is that her son is normal. Her unwavering belief is that Dr. Baughman is right in his analysis that millions of children are being drugged for a disease that does not exist: all for the ease of overcrowded schools, busy parents and teachers, and for the gain of big Pharma.

Our team was also privileged to see the video that Dr. Baughman produced that showed the ADHD Consensus Conference in 1998 in which the final statement was, ‘…we do not have an independent, valid test for ADHD and there are no data to indicate that ADHD is due to a brain malfunction.”

Dr. Baughman is not the only doctor speaking up about the growing numbers of children being given this false label, but certainly he is one of the more vocal. Testifying in court for parents who had had their children taken away from them because they would not drug them, testifying in court to the deaths and suicides caused by ADHD drugs, Dr Baughman is appalled that in some schools half the student population has been labeled ADHD. He is loud in his assertion that ADHD does not exist and that it is a complete fraud perpetuated by doctor’s double-speak and by drug companies that stand to make billions.

All diseases have proof and sound medical tests. There is no physical proof in the body of anyone that this disease exists. There is no valid test for ADHD and many of the diagnoses are conducted by classroom teachers who are not licensed to make diagnoses that result in drugging with pills that are classified in the same category as heroine.

This is one of the most compelling reads that has come before us. It is shocking, and horrifying to see that without any cause, our children are being classified as abnormal and diseased…and being given medications that kill, change personalities, and can eventually change brain patterns.

We have also included the editorial review of this book as it drives home the seriousness that all of our children now face: compulsory mental screening and compulsory drugging.
Parents and children even today are having their rights taken away from them concerning their choice to medicate. In some countries, the only way to get your child an education without medication is to go to court. The schools that will not allow these bright and energetic children into their classrooms have been given the power to become doctor as well as drug pusher.

In 1970, when "hyperactivity"/"minimal brain damage" (forerunners of ADHD) was first represented to Congress to be a brain disease, only 150,000 had it. Today, not by science or truth, but the "big lie" -saying it is a disease often enough, 6 million have it!

Nor is ADHD the only "chemical imbalance.” They give us conduct disorder (CD), oppositional-defiant disorder (ODD), major depressive disorder (MDD), OCD, PTSD, GAD, SAD, etc., a total of 374 psychiatric disorders in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association, said to be "chemical imbalances" needing "chemical balancers" --pills!

In 2003 Congressional hearings it was said that 17% of the nation's school children, 8.8 million, were labeled and drugged by psychiatry. Today it is 20%; one in five; over 10 million!

How better to sew the seeds of our own destruction? As if this were not enough, the President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health is set to foist compulsory, government-mandated, mental health screening on all 52 million US schoolchildren.

When normal people are lied to, told they have a "disease" to make "patients" of them, their right to informed consent has been abrogated and they no longer live in a democracy. When, pursuant to that lie, they are drugged, what we have is not "treatment" but poisoning. This is the greatest health care fraud in modern medical history.
