It’s not the usual snake in the grass, run for your lives… it’s the Organic Cotton and Catnip Snake!!! YIKES!

Funny how cats sneak up on their prey. The two we had on Pure Zing test team did exactly that. Enter, Kooka, the Ruddy Abyssinian, followed coyly by Misoo, a Blue Point Siamese, both seasoned hunters of cat toys. Slowly creeping, ever so carefully toward the quarry Kooka’s nose catch’s the catnip scent as he edges closer. Misoo a true-non-believer, crouches back a safe distance to witness how he fares. Has he met his match with the Organic Cotton and Catnip Snake?
Before you can say, “Here kitty, kitty’, Kooka is rubbing his nose along the entire length of the toy snake. Misso, perhaps thinking it’s some kind of cat parlor trick stays back.
Our lead test cat suddenly drops and rolls all over the snake, then paws the end licking it. This movement sent some kind of unseen cat sign to the other cat who went to the opposite end and sniffed and sniffed it, like she had never taken in a scent like this before. Maybe she hadn’t, after all it is entirely organic and handmade!
As you can see from the photo above, the vicious Organic Cotton and Catnip Snake is like no other cat toy, and it isn’t “crooked as a snakes’ back”. But cats don’t care about things like that do they?
