The slogan says Love Your Wood’, but we LOVE this furniture polish! A nice, chunky 5-ounce tin you can get your hand around holds a light and fragrant combination of unrefined beeswax, carnuba wax, olive oil and pure essential oils.
Now that the Pure Zing team lives in a drier climate, each of us knows that certain pieces of our furniture have a duller look. So, we were thrilled to be able to try this natural polish to see if it gave our cherished pieces a lift.
“Lift’ is right! Every piece of wood that we used this polish on now has a gentle gleam and glow. This is not a polish that will give you a mirror shine that is glaring and obnoxious, but a formulation that feeds the wood as it gives a gentle, subtle shine. Of course this takes off dust, but the glow of wood from the enrichment of beeswax is more pronounced than any dusting will ever leave behind. The container suggested that we try it on kitchen cabinets, and so of course we obliged and did our bathroom cabinets as well. Streaks and dust disappeared and the gentle fragrance and a beautiful glow were all that were left behind. You can feel totally safe using this polish on cabinets and any fine wood pieces that you own: they will only improve with the application of beeswax!
The fragrance is soft but lovely. Nothing chemical or synthetic in this fragrance…just the undeniably sweet and subtle fragrance of real beeswax and essential oils of sweet orange and lavender. Put some polish on a cloth, rub in circles, and then wipe with a dry cloth till the glow appears and your furniture looks rich and healthy…naturally!
Daddy Van has two other polishes: Unscented Beeswax (Naturally Baby Safe) that only has the sweet, soft smell of real beeswax, as well as Beeswax with Lavender which of course has the beautiful Lavender fragrance that we all love so well. Since our team was able to try all three we can’t imagine being able to pick just one…as they are all so terrific in their own unique way.
