Sticky sap or resin is produced by a tree or bush. This resin is found around buds or broken branches and protects the tree from fungus, bacteria, moulds, virus and infections. Bees collect and mix this resin with beeswax and use it to protect their hives. It is called propolis.
This highly medicinal and beneficial propolis has had the wax extracted, and without the use of alcohol, has been put into a dropper top bottle. Oral use (5-10 drops in a glass of water), or topical use on wounds or infections, helps your body to heal.

Flavonoids are found to be the source of the healing capabilities of propolis. Flavonoids are antioxidants which zap free radicals and speed the removal of heavy metals from the body. Flavonoids help prevent cell damage, improve the absorption of certain nutrients and stimulate the immune system to fight off harmful microbes.
