This pretty product is pretty amazing! Everything in it that can be organic is organic, it’s vegan, and the seven colors available can be used on either your lips or cheeks…or both!
Only 3½-inches long, this slender metal twist stick contains no plastic insert and its biodegradable exterior is eco-friendly metal. This is the perfect size to tuck into a tiny purse, or even a pocket…and may be the only makeup you need or want for minimalist hot days, or easy-going weekends.
The nourishing oils are good for both your lips and cheeks: organic sunflower oil, candelilla wax, organic castor oil, organic cocnut oil, carnauba wax, organic shea butter, organic peppermint, organic vanilla, organic macadamia nut oil, organic argan oil, organic aloe vera, vitamin E, lysine and mineral powders of mica, titanium dioxide and iron oxides. The fragrance is fresh essential oils, not synthetic perfumes, and smells a little like chocolate peppermint, which was fine with all of our testers!
The texture is creamy on your lips and stays that way, precluding the need for lip balms. On your cheeks, it’s creamy enough to blend, but then the majority of the oils absorb, leaving a non-sticky, softly glowing color behind. The depth of color matches the lightness of the product: more color can be achieved by layering of additional applications: a sun kissed look during the day deepening to more dramatic for evening.
Everyone who tried this liked the idea of not only one product that does double duty for lips as well as cheeks, but that it nourished and moisturized both areas as well! Everyone also liked that they were in control of the color: they could add it, rather than having to wipe off a product that was too heavy to begin with. A simple concept, kept simple…but with multiple uses and results.
