Did you know that lipstick could be handmade in small batches? Know you know! This woman-owned business uses macadamia nut and avocado oils with cocoa butter and natural minerals to create rich looking lipsticks that are as heavenly in color as they are good for your lips. Only small batches are made at a time for freshness of ingredients. These lipsticks don’t sit in trucks, in warehouses, in glass cases or on shelves gathering dust and aging: they are almost literally made on demand!
From subtle pinks and peaches like Babe Pink and Peach Pout, to rich shades like Hoochie Mama and Chocolate Rose, you will love how these matte lipsticks put the emphasis on the shape of your lip, rather than on the shine.
The lipstick is not waxy, goopy or heavy. The formulation is mostly mineral color and so all it needs is a minimum of oils to get it onto your lips. This lipstick goes on smoothly and evenly, but you do not feel that your lips are coated. The color soaks into your lips and when you press a tissue to your lips, hardly any color comes off!
Even after blotting on a tissue, there is just the smallest bit of oil left on your lips for softness. With only good oils and the mineral colors soaking into your lips, this long-lasting lipstick is non-toxic. No more eating of wax or harmful dyes and drying colors!
The color goes on a little lighter than the tube color, but it can be layered for richness. Three of us tried the same lipstick and by applying more, each was able to achieve the depth of color that they wanted. I only wanted the slightest color and so I used the lipstick lightly. My Latina friend put two layers on and it was perfect for her, and our Cuban blonde friend put it on and on…and got just the color richness that she wanted!
