Have you or a significant other ever flirted with the idea of a tattoo? Ever just wanted to make a temporary statement with a beautiful and eye-catching design, but didn’t want the pain and permanence of a real tattoo? Henna tattooing is your answer.

Henna is a natural plant that will temporarily stain your skin allowing you design freedom and fun without the long-term commitment. This kit contains everything you need to make at least 30 henna tattoos so if you want to have a tattoo party like our team tester did, you can cover a lot of ….ah, territory!

The reports are that everyone had more fun than should have been allowed! All of the stencil designs are transferable at least six times, and there are tons of designs that you can use in whole or in part so there were plenty of design choices and henna solution to go around. Seems that some women were braver than others and had fun stringing designs together to run up and around their arms or for someone else’s eyes only – on their thighs.

The ingredients are henna powder, water, glycerin, black walnut extract, benzyl alcohol, sugar, sorbitol, citric acid, eucalyptus oil, disodium EDTA and lactic acid. The whole kit comes in a lovely box showing one of the designs on the palm of a woman’s hand. If you do not use all of the henna solution in one sitting, all you have to do is refrigerate it and it will last four weeks. Keep all your henna supplies in the cloth bag that is also supplied in the box. They thought of everything so that all you have to do is have fun…and get creative.

The kit contains henna powder that you mix in a plastic cone bag (provided) with a premixed mixing solution. Once the henna is thoroughly mixed with the solution, you squeeze the mixture into the provided bottle with the application tip and you are ready to go! Q-tips, toothpicks, directions and tips are also provided so that you can keep your henna application tidy and uniform. Eucalyptus oil is also in the box. Apply it to your skin and then press any stencil on top of it. The oil transfers the stencil onto your chosen skin area and then all you do is go over the lines with the henna.

The henna is dry and set in six hours. You then remove the excess henna and admire your handiwork over the next 1-3 weeks. Henna will not stay on your face or chest, and while it has good staying power on your arms or legs, your hands and feet really hold the henna designs the longest.

Some women put the designs on the palms of their hands, others on the soles of their feet or in a bracelet chain around their ankle. Some women kept the designs small and in more private places, while others loved to decorate both sides of their hands for their own visual enjoyment. There are kits for kids as well as a black jagua kit for men or women who want black tattoo designs made from the Jaqua fruit, not a chemical black henna which is not safe. Whichever one you choose, the results are gorgeous, renewable, changeable, natural and most of all, FUN! That’s Pure Zing!
