This brush is Fabuki! We mean FABULOUS!! The handle is just under an inch high, and the super full, plump, soft bristles are 1 ¾ inches high, by a full 2-inches across! The bristles are all-natural: made of the finest Badger hair so that they pick up the minerals and deposit them on your face; not on your countertop.
The soft fullness is what makes this the ideal brush for applying mineral foundation. Our whole team just LOVES how this brush feels on our faces: like a whisper, like mink, like FABUKI! This is the perfect brush for applying light to medium coverage: great for casual, day-time or weekend makeup.
Tap some foundation into the lid of the container, swirl the brush gently in the foundation and then tap, tap tap the flat of the handle on the countertop. This ‘tapping’ settles the mineral foundation into the bristles so that as you fluff the brush over your face, the minerals slowly release: allowing for even and soft coverage.
I have to admit that I have held off reviewing this brush till almost last. Not because I don’t like it, but because in-between reviews, I grab the brush and stroke it over my hands: it’s that soft and FABUKI! Each brush in this line is special, but this super-soft, plump foundation brush is just scrumptious and feels heavenly on your face! As this brush head size is so large and fluffy, don’t apply blush with it as you cannot place blush accurately with this size.
