Ocean Cleanser is a gentle, pale, pale green cleanser for normal to dry skin. This unusual product looks like a combination of gel and lotion: too thick to run or drip, but light and almost see-through like a gel. As you apply it to your face, you do not get a sensation of oil. There is no greasiness to this product, and yet it is soft and glides easily over your skin. No lather, there is just the tiniest trace of a few small bubbles and this gentle cleanser rinses easily, taking makeup or the strains of the day with it. Your face has just been gently but thoroughly cleaned, without being stripped, or without a layer of oil left behind.
We were delighted to learn that this cleanser is Ph balanced. No toner is needed after using this product. The fragrance is light but refreshing, a delicate blending of essential oils, with lime predominating. Available in a 6-ounce, frosted, pump top, glass bottle this is elegant enough to keep on your counter.
What is different about this product? It is marine-based. Knowing that all the essential elements for life are in the sea, the developer of this line worked for years to use the best of the best that the sea and earth had to offer. Your skin actually benefits from cleansing with the nutrient-rich, 100% all-natural ingredients.
The predominant ingredient is red algae gel from the Brittany coast. Red algae float on the surface of the sea and are one of the richest sources of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, trace elements, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese and zinc. Red Algae are also rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids; such as linoleic acids and Vitamin K, which are the basis of lipoproteins and cell membrane building.
Other all-natural ingredients are a vegetal foaming agent, oat amino acids, extracts from coconut, sesame seed oil, jojoba oil, natural smectite clay, vitamin E, essential oils of lime, orange, juniper, cypress and jasmine, as well as mixed fruit extract and amino acids.
