What do you want from a facial bar? Clean, dewy, glowing skin that feels soft, not stripped? Yes, you can get a bar, rather than a facial lotion or cream that will clean while imparting moisture and nourishment. How? Mix in organic extra virgin olive oil with goat’s milk soap and then add other moisturizing elements: glycerine, coconut oil, palm oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, purified water, safflower oil, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, soybean protein, titanium dioxide, oxide dye and organic lemon verbena essential oil. The result: a dense, rich, nourishing facial bar that you will reach for morning and night with pleasure.

The fragrance is lemon verbena fresh while the lather is so creamy that it almost looks like you have lotion on your hands and face. Even though the lather is rich and dense, it rinses easily leaving behind the faintest fresh scent. Pat your skin dry and revel in the soft, soft feel knowing that while you have removed impurities, you have not stripped your skin: there is no tight or drawn feeling.

This bar is 3.75 x 2 x 1 –inch and weighs in at 4.5-ounces. The color is a pale yellow gold and the imprint on the bar is of a woman pouring olive oil from a flagon. Be aware that with the goat’s milk, olive oil, palm and coconut oils, this soap is dense and although it is rich with oils, it will not get mushy or soft.
