You know those pump tops that make things super foamy? Well this large, 10.5-ounce container has a big pump that delivers lots of super light and foamy soap. Now before you think that you know what this is all about, you need to know that this is not ordinary ‘soap’. Yes it surprised even us because it says ‘Foaming Hand Soap’, but the texture and consistency of this ‘soap’ is different. This soap is detergent-free and there is no slickness to it like most soap. Although there is foam from the dispensing top, there is also no lather as would normally be associated with soap. Instead, the foam covers your hands and cleans and rinses easily leaving a divine fragrance behind.

The fragrance is intense: a pepperminty- rosemary freshness that surrounds you as you rub your hands together…and that lasts even though you have rinsed your hands. It’s quite an aromatherapy experience and both the men as well as the women on our team just love it.

The ingredients are Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Water, Decyl Glucoside, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Glucose, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Lactoperoxidase and Glucose Oxidase. Notice that the first ingredient is an aloe vera gel. This is a moisturizing and healing ingredient so that no matter how many times you wash with this, your skin does not get dried out or stripped. Olive oil is also nourishing and moisturizing and the peppermint and rosemary are antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, soothe muscle and give pain relief as well as being an aromatic cleanser.

Recently two members of our team had colds with coughing. We all used this soap religiously whenever we touched surfaces that they may have touched. We washed our hands a lot during the day, for several days running and never caught the cold! Our hands were not dried out, did not itch or feel overwashed. Our hands felt great and smelled great….and evidently were clean, clean clean!

Not only did this soap appear to prevent the spread of colds to others, we noticed that the essential oils also removed cooking odors from our hands. Garlic and onion fragrances totally disappeared from our skin…leaving only the peppermint/rosemary fragrance behind.

It will only take you a washing or two to get used to a foam, rather than a slick lather, but you will immediately be taken by the rich aroma that lasts on your skin as well as the non-drying side-benefits. We are glad that we had this foaming soap to use during cough and cold season, and love that it is a great hand, odor and germ cleanser for either the kitchen or bath. Man, woman or child, this is a terrific soap to have on hand in any season. We highly recommend it and think it’s Pure Zing!
