Chocolate Mocha Body Scrub

This is one of the more unusual body scrubs that I have tried: a dark puddle of chocolate filled with ground espresso beans. The mixture is shiny and such a dark brown that it’s almost black. The yummy fragrance is like strong mocha coffee and I find myself even now taking the lid off to smell it, over and over.

In a large plastic jar with a white lid, the opening is large enough to sink your hand fully into the 14.2-ounce jar. It is like plunging your hand into chocolate syrup… except when you rub it on your body, it has the texture of finely ground coffee.

This is a health experience as much as an exfoliation product. The ingredients explain what I mean: premium dark chocolate, espresso beans, grapeseed oil, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin E, Vitamin C, Blackcurrant oil, extracts of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry and rosemary, and phenoip.

The chocolate is an antioxidant and softens your skin, the espresso increases circulation while it exfoliates, grapeseed oil is known for its tissue cell strengthening qualities and helps to soften your skin along with the blackcurrant oil, and the rest of the ingredients are additional potent antioxidants to nourish and protest your skin.

The chocolate base holds the espresso grounds so that they don’t all fall off and without having to be too generous with the product you can exfoliate your whole body easily. The look of this product is very different…. being almost black and grainy, but enjoy the luscious fragrance and the smooth results! I would recommend that this be used in a shower so that rinsing of you, and your shower is easy as there are a lot of grounds in this product.

I really like this scrub! It smells wonderful, is filled with superb ingredients that are 99.75% natural, known for their results, is 100% vegan, biodegradable, has not been tested on animals and is unique. Just don’t let your mother see you using it as you can end up looking like you have happily played in a mud puddle.
