Delicate. A whisper. The Lavender in this baby lotion is so subtle as to almost not be there. The thick cream melts with the warmth of your baby’s skin…and soothes….and then soaks in. Your baby’s skin won’t be greasy they won’t slip out of your hands when you lift them, and this formulation won’t stain delicate baby fabrics.

The owner picks very rich oils that heal, protect, tone and moisturize: sunflower oil, purified water, e-wax, cocoa butter, shea butter, glycerin, rosemary oil extract, stearic acid (paraben free preservative), lavender essential oil, calendula oil and carrot seed oil. We like the touch of rosemary oil for its antibacterial qualities and note that many of the oils supply vitamin A and E, both of which are healing.

The 8-ounce bottle has a pump top and is clear plastic so that you can see the level of the lotion inside. Patterned gross grain ribbon adorns the neck of the bottle that we tested, and of course the dancing dingo dog in the tutu is on the label.

Paraben-free, mineral oil-free and vegan, this is definitely a gentle lotion that you can safely use to soften and soothe your baby’s delicate skin. The great bonus is that as you apply it to your baby, your hands get the rich moisturizing benefits also. A lovely lotion: other family members will reach for it too!
